Disclosure: I did NOT want to take a drivers defensive course! After reviewing several sites, I selected the on-line course by Texas Defensive Driving School because the founder was a Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper and his sons Gary and Randy. Along with Gary and Randy's chemistry and the videos, taking the course was surprisingly easier than I expected. The on-line course made it easy to take a break and come back where I left off. I completed the course on Saturday and on Sunday, I received a call from them asking for information that I failed to provide. I’m not for sure another on-line course ‘owners’ would contact you on a Sunday. Monday they will be able to process and mail the certificate. This was the best course anyone could have ever wished for or hoped for, after coming close to the deadline, I got my certificate along with the driving record which was emailed to me and it is printed and ready to go. I am so grateful for the quick response upon calling them on the phone for assistance on a hick up that I came accross while compleing the on line course. The nice sense of humor is also very welcomed in what could be a stressful situation. ~ Martha L

Man oh man, these guys are great! Loved the course so much, I took it twice! Not because I wanted to...but you know how it goes. The program isn't boring at all and the guys are exceptionally personable. If you have any issues and call the office number, you will actually speak to the hosts of the program themselves; they are just as "Texas Friendly" over the phone! This is the second time I’ve taken defensive driving online, and I’ve used Texas Defensive Driving School for every ticket. Gary Hensley is a great instructor—clear, easy to follow, and knowledgeable. The course is straightforward, and their team is always easy to get in touch with if you have questions. Don't go anywhere else for your defensive driving class--you're not going to find any better than these guys. The class was made more interesting by the joking around during the video--I think they know the state-required classes can be incredibly boring and try to liven it up best they can. And their customer service is awesome, they work with you one on one and it's clear that they really care about their customers. Definitely recommend. ~ Anita

Like many, I legally had to complete a defensive driving course but I am so glad I picked this one. It was engaging and I actually became a better driver. I was skeptical at first. I dislike using credit cards online. I bit the bullet on this course, and all went well! I also had an error on my completion certificate, and it took less than 10 minutes after I messaged them on Facebook, for them to have me call them, and fix the error. I will definitely use this course again if I end up needing to. ~ Txn

This is my favorite service to use anytime I need to take care of a defensive driving course! The owners are VERY helpful. If there's ever a technical issue, they even go out of their way to personally reach out to you to ensure the issue is taken care of immediately and thoroughly. Very great service! ~ An N

I actually enjoyed the humor and learned a few things, and I was a Drivers Ed Teacher back in the day. This was a full 6+ hour course. They were very helpful and extremely fast to respond. Money well spent... ~ Ed S
